Welcome to our wedding celebration — we’re so happy you’re here. It means a lot to us to be able to share this special time with you, and we’re truly looking forward to spending the weekend together. On this site you’ll find all the practical details to help you plan and enjoy the days with us. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
Day of the wedding
Location
The wedding will take place at Jaunmoku Palace, located about an hour from Riga.
The ceremony will start at 15:00, and we recommend arriving at the venue 14:30 at the latest. After the ceremony there will be time to check into your rooms, and then we will have a cocktail hour followed by dinner and the party.
There will be a bus departing from Riga city center, or from around the hotels mentioned above, to the venue for everyone traveling to the wedding. More details about the departure time and location will be provided closer to the date. The bus will return to Riga on Sunday probably around noon.
We will all be staying overnight at the venue, and you'll pay for your room when checking in. The rooms are located right above the venue, if you're traveling with children, a baby monitor should let you have eyes and ears on the children while still enjoying the festivities.
There might not be enough rooms for everyone to have their own, so some of you joining might have to share a room. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone and make sure you're all comfortable. If you have any special needs or requests, please let us know in advance.

Gifts
Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and since many of you are traveling, we truly do not expect any gifts.
If you would still like to give something, a contribution toward the wedding or our honeymoon would be warmly appreciated — but it is entirely optional. Celebrating together with you is what matters most to us.
Days before the wedding
Stay in Riga
We recommend staying in Riga the night before the wedding, as the wedding starts early in the afternoon and the bus leaves to the venue around noon. We have talked to Wellton hotel group and gotten a promo code to get a 25% discount on your stay between July 20th and July 27th. Use the code DAKIWEDDING to get the discount when booking.

Day after the wedding
Traveling back to Riga
The day after the wedding, we will travel back by bus following breakfast, with departure planned for approximately 11:00–12:00. We will be staying at the same hotel once again and hope to arrange a relaxed activity for anyone who would like to join us.
